$CROWD
$CROWD is the currency of crowded. It is an ordinary pump.fun coin paired with SOL. Everything else is paired with it.
What it does
- Every clan coin is paired with $CROWD, not SOL. To buy any clan you go through $CROWD. The site does it in one swap, SOL → $CROWD → clan coin.
- The Vault holds $CROWD. The 1.2 % of every clan trade that goes to the Vault arrives as $CROWD, and the Vault spends it buying back clan coins.
- 0.2 % of every clan trade burns $CROWD at the moment the fees are collected.
- Whatever the Vault holds above three days of inflow after a finish is burned as $CROWD.
- Dollar thresholds in the contests and Beefs are converted to $CROWD once a day, at the day's rate (a person's buy: dollars paid at the time of purchase); Ladder milestones are measured in $CROWD at the launch rate.
What this means for holders of clan coins
All clan coins are quoted in $CROWD. If $CROWD moves against SOL, every clan coin moves with it in SOL terms, whatever the clan did that day. This is the price of a shared currency, and it is the main risk to understand before buying any clan (see Risks).
The team and $CROWD
The team's only revenue is the creator fee on $CROWD when $CROWD itself is traded against SOL — on pump.fun, Jupiter, fomo, or when someone exits a clan coin all the way to SOL. Buying a clan coin through the site gives the team nothing: the $CROWD leg in the middle carries no fee.
