How it works
Fee flow
Why: the 2 % is set on the coin at creation; what happens to it afterwards is this page.
From trade to split
- A clan coin is traded anywhere. pump.fun charges the 2 % creator fee into the coin's creator-fee vault, whose recipient is the clan's account on crowded. (pump.fun's own fee is separate and goes to pump.fun.)
- The indexer collects the fees of Arena clans about every 5 minutes once at least $10 has accumulated — and always right before a finish or a buyback.
- Collection splits the balance in one transaction: 1.2 % of the trade volume to the Vault, 0.6 % to the owner's balance on the clan account, 0.2 % burned as $CROWD on the spot.
- The owner claims their balance with a signature whenever they want.
Network fees of collection come from the gas tank, not from the trades and not from the team.
Edge cases
- Owner has no $CROWD token account — the 0.6 % goes to the Vault at that collection. The site does not create token accounts on anyone's behalf.
- Owner inactive for 14 days — the 0.6 % goes to the Vault until the owner signs again. See Clans.
- Clan not yet on the Arena — fees accumulate on the clan account until collection.
- A broken owner account in a collection batch does not fail the batch; that owner's part goes to the Vault.
The split
The split 1.2 / 0.6 / 0.2 is set at launch and is the same for every clan. The Vault's 1.2 % is the main budget of every contest (the Vault page lists the smaller sources). There is no fourth recipient.
