What is Crowded?

Crowded is an arena for influencer communities. A community launches its own coin on the arena and becomes a clan; every day all clans compete on one task — most buyers, biggest inflow, fewest sells. The three best clans of the day get their coin bought back and burned with the arena's shared money, and the influencer behind the clan gets a share of every trade of their coin.

  • A clan is an influencer's community — or any crowd — with its own coin on pump.fun, paired with $CROWD and launched through crowded
  • One contest a day, the same task for every clan, finish at 00:00 UTC; the task changes every day
  • The Vault — the arena's shared money, filled only by the trading fees of all clans — buys back and burns the coins of the day's top 3
  • The clan owner gets 0.6 % of every trade of the clan's coin
  • The Vault never sends anyone money
  • Built on Solana

How it runs

An influencer — or anyone — launches a clan on crowded: link your X account, pick a name, a ticker and an emoji, put 0.1 SOL into the gas tank (it covers the service transactions, not the team), and the coin is created on pump.fun paired with $CROWD. A coin created anywhere else is not a clan, even if it is paired with $CROWD. Hold a clan's coin and you count for it; sell it and you don't.

A clan enters the Arena once 20 wallets each hold at least $5 of its coin, and competes from that moment.

How contests work

One contest a day, until 00:00 UTC; the standings at the finish are what count. Each day has its own contest — most buyers, biggest net inflow, fewest sells — and the schedule is public on the site. Only real buyers count: a wallet has to buy at least $20 in a swap and still hold it at the finish.

At the finish the Vault buys the top 3 clans' coins on the open market and burns them: 50 / 30 / 20 % of what it has left after the Ladder, at most 5 % of the money in the coin per place, and only for clans that scored. It buys in chunks of at most 2 %, never more than once an hour, at random times over the next 24 hours; every chunk is a public transaction linked from the clan page. With fewer than 3 clans on the Arena there is no contest that day; the places stay in the Vault for tomorrow, and the Ladder and the Debut still run. A clan that enters the Arena today and brings the most people gets the Debut: a buyback from what is left after the places (an unfilled place stays for tomorrow).

Two more things burn into coins. The Ladder: once per clan per milestone — migration to the open market, $250K, $500K and $1M market cap — the Vault burns a share into that coin. Beefs: a clan owner challenges another for 24 hours, each puts up their own money, and both amounts are bought and burned into the winner's coin.

Where the money comes from

Every trade of a clan coin carries a 2 % fee, split by the clan's program account. For every $1000 traded:

Goes toShareAmount
The Vault1.2 %$12
The clan owner0.6 %$6
Burning $CROWD0.2 %$2

pump.fun takes its own fee on top (currently 0.95 %), as on any pump.fun coin. Trades count wherever they happen — crowded, pump.fun, Jupiter, fomo, Axiom.

Nobody tops the Vault up: all of it is participants' money — clan fees, unclaimed owner shares, the part of Beef amounts above the cap. After each finish it keeps no more than three days of inflow (from the 4th day after launch); the excess is burned as $CROWD.

Why $CROWD

Every clan coin is paired with $CROWD, not SOL. Buying any clan goes through $CROWD — the site does it in one swap, SOL → $CROWD → clan coin, for a total fee of about 2.95 %. The Vault holds $CROWD, every clan trade burns some of it, and Ladder milestones are measured in it.

How the team is paid

The team gets only the creator fee on $CROWD itself — from trades of $CROWD on pump.fun and elsewhere. From the 2 % clan fee it gets $0, and a purchase through the site gives it $0. Standings are computed by the team's server from public data that anyone can recompute (FOMO RUSH and CLOUT use a published snapshot of external data — see Scoring).
