Beefs
A Beef is a 24-hour challenge between two clan owners, with their own money on the line. No fan money and no Vault budget are involved.
How it goes
- The owner of clan A challenges clan B and puts up a burn amount — from the owner share or from their own $CROWD — and picks the discipline.
- B has 24 hours to accept by putting up the same amount. No answer in 24 hours — the challenge is withdrawn and A's amount returns.
- The Beef runs 24 hours from acceptance.
- Both amounts are bought back and burned into the winner's coin, up to 5 % of the money in that coin, in chunks like any buyback; anything above the cap goes to the Vault. The challenge card shows "burns up to X" before you accept.
- Tie, or nobody scored — both amounts return to their owners.
A clan can have one outgoing challenge and one running Beef at a time.
Disciplines (chosen by the challenger)
| Discipline | Score over 24 hours |
|---|---|
| Inflow % | (buys − sells) ÷ money in the coin at the start |
| People's inflow % | the same, with a cap on how much one wallet can count |
| Grip | sells ÷ money in the coin at the start — lower wins |
| Volume % | (buys + sells) ÷ money in the coin at the start |
| New holders % | new wallets holding $5+ at the end ÷ holders at the start |
| Price % | price at the end ÷ price at the start − 1 |
| Biggest buyer % | largest single buy ÷ money in the coin at the start |
In Grip, if only one side has positive inflow, that side wins; if neither does, both amounts return.
What everyone sees
Cards for every step: "@A challenges @B", "@B didn't accept", "@A won — burned X". A Beefs board on the site keeps the score and streaks. Fans' money is never in a Beef; only the two owners put anything up.
